My friends Kalabe and Nastassia had their engagement session at Magnuson Park on possibly the coldest day of the year! Well it felt like it, anyway. We had some cute shots with heart balloons, some romantic shots with the leaves, and some super fun shots with paint! We were joking around that the number of balloons represents the number of children they're going to have :) Kalabe proposed to her on the 4th of July, Nastassia's favorite holiday, so of course we had to get some pictures with the flag. They are a beautiful couple, and I'm so glad they were creative and brave enough to do all of this while our fingers were freezing off!
This past summer I helped Cheryl out with her maternity session when she was about 40 weeks pregnant. I'm so glad I finally got to meet her (first) little girl, Lucy, and the rest of her family! We visited Santa at Molbak's for some family pictures. I had never been there before, but it really is a neat place, and I will admit I even got lost trying to find Santa. It was so funny to see how all the children in line were so excited to meet Santa but the second they're placed on his lap the crying and screaming started. (We were lucky we got a good group shot before the crying began!) There were a ton of Christmas plants, but I was surprised by the amount of ornaments and decorations they had for sale so after our photo session I walked around and did some Christmas shopping...they have a little bit of everything there!
Welcome to my blog! It is dedicated to my love of photography, sunny weather, family, food, and art!
