I had the pleasure of teaming up with Linda from Beauty Phanatics for this styled wedding shoot! After I had already planned my Valentine's Day Part 1 concept, I knew I wanted to use the same elements with a romantic couple. Filishia and Aaron are already married but they graciously offered to model as bride and groom for me. Since it was freezing cold I tried to get them cozied up on the couch as much as possible :) Filishia doesn't dress up in girly outfits very often so this was definitely FUN for me (...I hope it was for her too)! Blush dresses are perfect for a Valentine's Day wedding and she looked absolutely gorgeous in them! I only knew them for a couple hours, but it was so easy to see how much they love each other!
A huge thank you to the wonderful vendors who helped make this collaboration possible!

Kanani and Travis are going down in my books as the Renegade Wedding (for reasons I can't quite disclose)! :) I am so honored that they let me be a part of their special day filled with love and (lots and lots of) laughter. Their intimate beach wedding was complete with their closest family and friends surrounding them. Although we had planned on having pictures of the mountain in the background, the clouds had a different idea for us and it was completely overcast that day. But that didn't stop this crazy fun bunch. Kanani looked so glamorous walking down the sand, and the look on Travis's face when he saw her makes me smile when I think about them :) Following the vows was the balloon knot ceremony, where Kanani and Travis tied two balloons together and let them float off into to the sky, symbolizing their strength and unity as a married couple. Just another unique touch to their thoughtful day.
After the ceremony we spent some time walking around the beach and taking pictures. The bridal party (aka the Bride's Guard) and groomsmen were a blast to be around. They even did a Mhysa pose (finally, people who like Game of Thrones as much as I do)! Oh and can you believe they made all those bouquets by hand for super cheap? We even took a walk down to the docks where they had a school project together, that's how they met actually, so I'm glad we had time for shots at that special location. I just had the best time with this group and everything about the wedding was Pinterest perfect.
Welcome to my blog! It is dedicated to my love of photography, sunny weather, family, food, and art!
