The big day finally arrived for Lindsey and Steve! I did their engagement session last year in the woods of St. Edwards State Park. I was so honored I got to document their marriage ceremony at the Ruston Chapel this summer. The venue was actually a perfect match for this couple because they are quirky and unique. I mean, look at the scrabble board that they transformed into their guest book. Although it was a very intimate ceremony and reception, it was heartwarming to see how many people had tears in their eyes as they said their I Do's. One of the best parts about the ceremony was the cord braiding, symbolizing the idea that marriage takes three: a person, his/her spouse, and God. By keeping Him at the center of marriage, His love will continue to bind them together. Just another one of unique touche they they were so thoughtful to incorporate. I loved watching their friends and family said farewell by blowing bubbles while the adorable newlyweds left for their secret honeymoon location.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12
